Question: Do I need to get insurance? Answer: Yes

Highland Colony is insured with master policies for fire, liability, and workmen's compensation. All of these are linked below. But note that these do not cover the interior of your unit or any of your possessions, nor will these policies cover loss or damage to improvements you have made such as special flooring, kitchen and bathroom remodels, or other upgrades.

We recommend downloading the "Insurance Specs 2024-25" summary from the link below and bringing it to your insurance provider. The information it contains will help you and your agent select the most appropriate insurance for your personal needs without duplicating any of the Association's policy coverage. You should also ask about personal liability insurance against harms to your guests or to people you've hired to work in your home.

Be aware that Highland Colony has a $25,000 deductible policy.
